Winter Trends to Buy

Each season there are different trends that come out and there is definitely so many going around right now. But here are my top picks for this winter season to try on. I am sharing my top picks which you definitely have to try.

This season must haves are:

  • Animal Print (Other than Leopard)

This trend has been seen season after season. Its a classic in the ‘statement’ category. If you know what I mean. But for this season I would recommend getting something other than a leopard print. Add a twist to this trend in your wardrobes. You can either get a snake print, Zebra print or you can even go for a different color than the usual browns. Like how I went for a Red. It’s different, at the same time not too much on the face.

I personally love a good snake print. An allover print in a dress would be my first choice. A snake print in grey tones with flowy silhouette makes for a good day dress.

To elevate the look and add some colour to it I paired it with my Red belt bag. The belt bag is also a snake print and I loved how the ‘print on print’ look turned out.

 Sequince Dress

A statement piece for this holiday season is must have for your wardrobe. Its the holiday season and whats better than some sparkle. A little bit of sparkle hurt nobody. For christmas and newy years it makes for the perfect dress to have.

And if you dont like a lot of glitter on your dress then you can get just one element of sequince in your outfit. Get a sequince skirt with a plain top or get a glitter top and pair it with smart trousers or a skirt.

But personally I love glitter and I love statemnt dresses.

A Statement Jumper

I love a good statement jumper and what better way to start the winter season by adding a statement piece to your wardrobe. I wanted to add some colour to my otherwise dull winter wardrobe and the moment I saw the colourfully striped jumper, I knew I had to have this in my wardrobe.

Velvet is big on trend and it’s the perfect trend for the party season as it looks fabulous and keeps you warm at the same time. Personally I am enjoying this trend in dresses and tops. My favourite velvet dress is a nice red dress from Koovs.
